Teacher & Staff
First of all I give all praise, glory and honour to our God and Lord Jesus Christ for His amazing grace, unconditional love and unfailing faithfulness towards this Institution. Day Star School was established in 1985 with a desire to provide education to the children of this valley. The School has completed its 28 successful years of dedicated service to this community in the field of Education..
The Prayer sparked the beginning of the School in May 1981; for the hospital staff children and for the wider community as a source of influence on health, hygiene and education.
The desire for starting the School was also fuelled and motivated by Ms. Catherine Jones who was running a School in Punjab.
Our motto for Day Star School is Dignity, Equality and Responsibility, which is based on the biblical understanding of Man. We believe that man is a spiritual being created in the image of God with the potential to reflect the nature of God. Thus this intrinsic value cannot be measured in terms of productivity, success or physical appearance.
I thank Day Star School for the invitation; It was an hour for me to address the school. It reminded me of the school days and I was still nervous like I used to be. Thank you once again. I wish all the best to students and I believe that each one of them will contribute in their best way.
Day star will always remain close to my heart. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, to give my inputs. You all are in my prayers.
It was a privilege to visit Day Star and meet the staff and the Principal. The classes were lively and children were happy. The history of the school is also very interesting and impressive. We shall pray for you all in our church in Brisbane, Australia.
